Program/Project Management

FEI possesses the necessary procedures and systems for comprehensive project management and project control to make certain our services are delivered on schedule and budget. FEI financial systems complement the project management and controls systems ensuring accurate cost accumulation, tracking, invoicing, and reporting.

FEI personnel are experienced in project management and the systems that enable FEI to manage and control costs through baseline development estimating, scheduling, and budgeting. Our procedures and processes allow the planning and control system to be driven by a resource/cost loaded schedule.

Through quality control and planning, our systems permit oversight of projects at a level for early identification and correction of variances, ensuring a successful project.

Environmental Monitoring

FEI’s environmental monitoring services routinely include the collection of samples, laboratory analysis, data management, data usability evaluation, validation and verification of data against requirements, and interpretation of results.

In addition, FEI’s environmental services include, but are not limited to:

  • Sample analysis plans and supervision of all field activities.
  • Soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and wastewater sampling
  • Design and installation of monitoring wells
  • Interpretation of geologic, geochemical, and hydrogeologic data

  • Establishment and inspection of RCRA and CERCLA waste storage areas ensuring strict regulatory compliance with packaging of low-level, low levelmixed, RCRA and TSCA-regulated waste packages to DOE, federal and state regulations

To supplement our services, FEI also offers a wide range of industrial monitoring equipment for rental use and part time applications with trained personnel.

Industrial Hygiene

FEI provides certified and non-certified industrial hygienists for expert services and staff augmentation. In addition, we offer air monitoring specialists; beryllium program managers and technical staff, and comprehensive asbestos management individuals and teams. Asbestos Program Management Services

Asbestos program management services offered by FEI are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations by personnel certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for work with asbestos. Our personnel include:

  • Certified Asbestos Project Designers
  • Certified Asbestos Management Planners
  • Certified Asbestos Building Inspectors
  • Certified Asbestos Supervisors
  • Certified Asbestos Air Monitoring Specialists

Our certified specialists perform on-site asbestos analysis by phase contrast microscopy utilizing NIOSH Method 7400. FEI is a successful participant in the Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) program administered by the AIHA.
